There is one week to go to Why Waste? Yorkshire's first Zero Waste and Cost Effective Recycling Fair!

Landfill currently costs £40 a tonne and is set to go up £8 a year until at least 2013. Everyone recycles at home and you can do the same at work too.

Come along to West Yorkshire's first Zero Waste Fair to meet local companies offering all of these services, and more! We've had an overwhelmingly positive response, with 34 stallholders signed up and a massive 130 delegates registered to date. We will have a live waste exchange board. Featuring listings which are live on Why Waste right now with samples of materials, this interactive space is there to be used by you.

• Bring samples and details of materials you don't know what to do with
• Bring notes on what materials you need for your projects
• Bring details on your services / products which can help deal with waste
• Bring your creative ideas on what we could do with carpet offcuts, foam, tyres, textiles dust.... & post them for us

The fair will be at Leeds/Bradford Cedar Court: 25th Feb, 8am - 12 noon.
