Is Business Picking Up For You?

Recent Research for Yorkshire Bank, published in the T&A, showed that more than nine out of ten business managers were confident their company would survive the recession, with more than a third absolutely certain they would make it through.
The research also shows that in spite of the recession, only 35 per cent of companies had seen a reduction in business during the recession.
Andy Davidson, managing partner of Yorkshire Bank’s Bradford-based West Yorkshire Financial Solutions Centre, said: “It has clearly been a challenging time for many businesses but these figures show that there are signs of stability creeping into the market. However, it is still important to retain a grounded and cautious perspective as the market changes."
Does anyone have any signs or indicators which suggest that business is actually getting easier? That interest and sales are starting to pick up and the market is improving? And, has anyone else noticed that the local and national press are getting more positive?
