New business start-ups in Bradford District now have something else to smile about as this Bradford Kickstart website was named the best business to business website in Yorkshire at the prestigious Insider Yorkshire Digital Awards last week.
The site, created by Bradford-based digital media specialist Webmotion, was designed to bring together the extensive support offered to fledgling business by the ground-breaking Bradford Kickstart programme.
Judged by a respected panel of industry peers, and with hot competition from over 160 entries overall from across Yorkshire, the award recognized the breadth of the features on the site - all designed to support entrepreneurs and encourage enterprise in the region.
Insider editor Peter Baber said: “Webmotion and Bradford Kickstart clearly deserved to win this award for producing a site that serves an important function – encouraging more people in Bradford to start up their own businesses – and clearly addresses its target audience cleverly.”

Robert Campbell, Bradford Council’s Enterprise Programme Manager, was delighted by the award, “This really is a testament to the enthusiasm, energy and dedication of all the Kickstart partners. The website was designed to bring all of this together, offering easy access to the tools and support that start-up businesses need to get their ideas off the ground. Webmotion has done a great job in giving the programme an on-line presence and personality, and it is wonderful that the judges have recognised the value of this in their decision.”
